Catching Up a Bit
Well, the weekend didn’t go quite as planned. Unfortunately, we got hit with some pretty nasty weather here and ended up iced in all weekend long. So, we spent the 3 day weekend cuddled up watching movies and goofing off around the house. Not to mention making mocha after mocha. Here are just a couple of pictures of the icicles on the shop out back. Our pool has about ¼” of ice on the top of it. Too freaking cold for me!  Our puppies, Benny and Sissy, have gotten quite accustomed to being able to live indoors. Doesn’t bother me one little bit though, I like them being inside. Anywho, here are a couple of pictures of them enjoying the high life! Tehehehehe   I went down to check the mail today and found all sorts of goodies. My dear friend from the land down under, D’anerah, sent me a bracelet from After Dark Jewelry that is absolutely stunning! AND my favorite color!!!! YAY for me. I can’t wait to get dressed up and go out wearing it! Here are a few pictures of the bracelet!    Oh, but that wasn’t all that was waiting for me. A new pair of shoes, my frothing pitcher and my espresso cups and saucers all came in too! Extra yay for me! I’ll post pictures of those later though. Jeff’s airplanes are coming right along. Although, he seems to be expecting more progress to them each time he walks out to the shop. Instead, they always seem to be left off right where he quit last time! Tehehehe….dang those planes for not building themselves! Here are a couple of shots of his progress for anyone that is keeping up!   |
