OH THE HORROR!!!
| Anyone that knows Jeff very well at all knows that he is probably the BIGGEST Oregon State fan ever. The word fanatic comes to mind actually. He has trained the kids quite well in not combining the colors yellow & green together in pretty much everything they do. I thought I had it down pretty well too until yesterday! You see, I have this vase that sits on the kitchen table and every week, I buy a new bouquet of flowers to be displayed in said vase. Last night, I was ranting about the fact that the Wal-Mart (aka gates of hell) on the other side of town had a much wider, prettier variety of colors in their bouquets. I went on to say that the bunch I had just bought the day before were pretty, but I would have much rathered some of the others that I found later. As I was going on and on about this, I looked over (mind you that Jeff had already looked back at them several times by this point)and suddenly my heart stopped & sheer panic set in as somehow, it magically clicked that I had bright YELLOW & GREEN flowers in my vase and I screamed out, "OH CRAP!" Crapiola! My mind immediately began trying to figure out how to quickly discard the flowers without him realizing while coming up with some sort of story to explain away my sudden outburst! THEN...........he got this look on his face too as he realized just what had me in such a tizzy! I couldn't stop laughing to save my life and of course immediately agreed that he was to take me out promptly to buy new flowers. I even went so far as to suggest that perhaps it would be best if he just had flowers delivered to me weekly in order to better avoid something like this happening again! Now, I realize that this will get me in REALLY good with half of his family, but it will likely outcast me from the other half! Jeff didn't really want this posted because of the rash of crap that will likely ensue from his family, but I just can't help myself! Muwahahahahaha......I want this particuliar moment that has had me in stitches ever since, memorialized and shared with the whole world! *snickers & snorts* The new flowers are white and purple! Love me or hate me........ GO BEAVS!!!!!!
