Welcome to our crazy corner of the world! Since we have family that is spread across the country, we decided to set up this blog so that
those that we love and miss would have an even better glimpse into our daily lives.
Sit back and enjoy. Hopefully, you will enjoy the ride as much as we do!
Love, Jeff, Shelly, Zoe & Kolby

Driving out to the field this morning, we had the pleasure of this view:
It really is such a beautiful sight to see! Maybe the next trip that way, we will actually get to go up in one!!
Toby was our resident dog since Jeff and I both missed Benny & Sissy so much. Although, I'm not sure that his owners much appreciated us feeding Toby coffee! Muwahahaha
A couple of shots from Jeff's first flight of the day!
Since Jeff had his "mishaps" Friday during practice, we didn't have time to go visit Old Town as planned. So, after his first flight, I took off and went on my own adventure. After walking a couple of blocks to the center of Old Town, I realized that I had in fact left my camera in the truck. I thought to myself that I didn't really need it, but still decided to make the trek back to the truck to get it. As a result, I got a ton of great pictures. NOT! This is the one and only picture that I took......and this was right at the entrance into Old Town! Tehehehe
On my way back to the field, I just HAD to stop in and see the 2 open houses going on in the new housing addition just across from the field. These homes were absolutely beautiful.......and WAY overpriced in my opinion. I had been teasing Jeff all weekend that I was bound and determined to break into one of them so that I could see what they looked like from the inside. Magnificient. Almost magical even. I just love Albuquerque and it would seem that I really do fall in love even more with it with ever trip I make there!
One more of Jeff and our friend John from Lubbock at the competition.
After the competition, we went back to our room to clean up a bit and then off to dinner at Richard's house. Felt just like home with delicious BBQ served. Our many, many thanks to both Richard and his wife for a scrumptious meal and first class contest!
