Progress?
It's hard to really tell if it is progress or not from the stench rising from the pool in our backyard. The pool was as drained as it was going to get when I awoke this morning. Shortly after, the guys from Star Line Pools were here to take the measurements. So, something is being done. We are certainly moving in the right direction, but I don't think our neighbors are liking us much right now! Holy schmokes the horrid smell emitting from the lowest depths of that hole in the ground! Kolby hit the nail on the head when he said, "mom, that is REALLY disgusting!"   Of course, I'm also curious to see just how much MORE water will have to be drained out of the pool after our storms tonight. We had some pretty severe weather come rolling through our neck of the woods tonight. It was beautiful, don't get me wrong. Jeff and I sat on the sun porch watching it almost from beginning to end, but how ironic that it finally rains the day that the pool is drained right?   The water that you see in the second picture is not where my camera got wet, it's actually the flash catching the rain drops. I thought that was super cool, but then I tend to be rather easily amused as well. |
