Welcome to our crazy corner of the world! Since we have family that is spread across the country, we decided to set up this blog so that
those that we love and miss would have an even better glimpse into our daily lives.
Sit back and enjoy. Hopefully, you will enjoy the ride as much as we do!
Love, Jeff, Shelly, Zoe & Kolby

On the way home from Palo Duro, during one of the many, many bathroom stops, I found this adorable laughing and shaking horse toy. I just KNEW that Kobly would love, love, love it. I couldn't have been more right!
Kolby just plays and plays with it.
Of course niether Jeff nor Zoe appreciate it nearly as much as Kolby or I! Tehehehe. I can't imagine why. Can you?
Oh, and then there is Zoe. She walks around like she is in eskimo land or something. Constantly freezing. We couldn't help but laugh our hearts out last night when she came out wrapped in a blanket, her fur/snow boots on and a scarf over her head! She looked like she was preparing to face the fiercest snow storm ever seen or something. This morning isn't much better! Tehehehe
One thing is for certain! Life is NEVER boring around here....no matter what Zoe tells you!
Other news you ask? Well, I'm not sure where in the heck our summer season is. It won't seem to stop raining here for anything. Great for the lawn. Not so great for finishing up the pool OR much of anything else for that matter. It's killing Jeff's practice time before nationals next month and we are all getting a little bit of cabin fever. The pool is going to have to be drained again, as you can see from the picture below. Today, Wichita Falls is flooding. Mom just called to make sure that we had no intentions of leaving the house today as they have blocked off a lot of roads and such because they are too flooded to drive down. One of our friends home is flooded. It has rained so much over the past few weeks that there isn't anywhere else for the water to go....the ground is more than soaked already!
Come on summer! Dry us up and let us play outside again please!!!!
Sissy is still doing well. Her doctor came to see her today to take out the stitches and check on her progress. Yes, yes, the doctor came here. Pet Housecalls. Wonderful, wonderful. The vet is amazing AND I don't have to drag the dog into the car and across town...they come to us! YAY! The stitches are out & the vet was pleased with the way that the incision is healing AND how well Sissy seems to be walking on the leg. She will still be kept in the enclosed area for at least another month with only being allowed out to use the restroom pretty much. BUT the great news is that stinky Sissy (and she smells so bad that stinky doesn't come close to covering it) can finally get a bath tomorrow or the next day! WAHOO! As it is, everytime she moves, we get knocked over by the stench! *laughs hysterically*
As for Benny and Lucky. Well, they aren't as pampered as Sissy. Unfortunately, since neither one of them will use the dog houses outside, I keep having to put them up in the kennel out in the shop. When the rain lets up for a minute or two, I let them out to do their business and stretch a bit and then back in they go. Poor babies.
I think I'm off to see if I can wrangle the kids into playing a game or something with me. Maybe Blokus! Zoe and I can practice so that we can beat Jeff! Muwahahaha
