Welcome to our crazy corner of the world! Since we have family that is spread across the country, we decided to set up this blog so that
those that we love and miss would have an even better glimpse into our daily lives.
Sit back and enjoy. Hopefully, you will enjoy the ride as much as we do!
Love, Jeff, Shelly, Zoe & Kolby

Zoe looks real enthused about getting up so early on the weekend huh? Tehehehe Leaving at 6:30 this morning wasn't her most favorite part of the day!
Me and mom "trying to make everything we bought fit into my little car! We didn't even attempt to put in the bunk beds. We did manage to get a HUGE picture she bought in there and a bistro set that I bought in there. (pictures of the bistro set should be up in a day or two....Zoe and I had to do some work to it!) We found the coolest bunkbed set for Kolby. It has the dresser drawers and computer desk built into it and it is all in bright red and blue colors so it matches his room beautifully! And to top it off, it was SUPER cheap! I just love garage sales! Tehehe
At 9am, I had to drop off mom for her massage and Zoe for her Girl Scout camp training. She will be fearlessly leading the brownies next week during their camp. YAY for her! Tehehehe. So, while they were doing their things, I hit up a few more sales. At one house, the guy was trying to talk me into buying Jeff a Harley. Ummm....NO!!! He has enough toys don't you think? I picked them both back up at 10am and off we went to Sonic for refreshments as we were all parched.
This is where we affectionately referred to mom as PSYCHO! I had this gift card and mom tried taking out of my hands yelling something about going to Kohl's! *laughs hysterically* Of course she was just playing around but that look in her eye made me wonder if she really was! Tehehehe....needless to say, Zoe and I are still laughing at that experience. Mom swears that she isn't taking us to Kohl's tomorrow with her now because we keep making fun of her! Yeah right!
Jeff, pretend like you haven't already heard about the psycho thing! Zoe is DYING to tell you ALL about it! *laughs*
Kolby seems to have moved out. He has spent the last two nights at mom's house. I think he is worried that Walter's grandkids are trying to "invade HIS (Kolby's) territory and is laying stake. They bought him this remote dinosaur at a garage sale on Friday. It's super cool, but kind of freaks me out. It moves and makes noises at you even when no one is managing the remote control! Apparently it has a sensor on it and reacts to movement and noise and well, we have tons of both things all of the time in our house. Alexis, laughed as she asked me if I had any idea where the on/off button was. She was more than surprised when I correctly guessed "in the butt?" Tehehehe.....she hasn't realized yet that it always seems to be strategically placed in that location on all toys for some odd reason! So, I couldn't help but laugh as I pushed the dinosaurs butt to turn it "officially" off, thinking of Alexis. Kolby refused to stay home tonight too. Actually, I'm pretty okay with that since they have worn him plum out..........just means that I don't have to worry about dealing with tired, cranky Kolby. I like my super sweet, always smiling, loving Kolby MUCH better anyway!
Jeff called earlier. Apparently he had some issues with his first transmitter and had to rely on his back up one. He says that due to the switch and no experience in using that transmitter, the flying isn't as good as he would like it to be, but expects tomorrow to be much better. It would also seem that everyone just LOVES his new airplane & wants the plans to build one themselves. He almost sounded a bit surprised at the overwhelming positive reactions from everyone. Honestly, I'm surprised that he even seemed slightly surprised by this! Of course they all want in on this plane! It's freaking amazing! Keith and Dylon invited him to stick around with them at the field to eat dinner. Seems they brought steaks and were grilling. I'm really glad that there are some people there that he knows well and enjoys being around so much. Sounds like he is having a lot of fun!
By the way Jeff, I have a big surprise for you tomorrow handsome! Don't bother asking though, I won't tell. Muwahahahaha.
Guess that's it for today everyone! I'm off to watch a movie with Zoe and crash out extra early.......it's been a busy day and I'm tired!
