I love the mornings.
Jeff and I sit on the sunporch sipping our espresso drinks just chatting it up. Lately, most of the talk revolves around the dogs, the pool and NATS. But it's still so nice to have that quiet time.
Kolby wakes up and comes straight to us with this perfect smile telling us all about his dreams that night as he climbs into my lap for our usual morning cuddle time. Oh, how I adore that morning cuddle. It doesn't last a long time, he gets too excited about one thing or another and jumps right out of my lap to start his activities for the day, but those few moments are just precious to me.
Zoe has gotten into a very unusual habit for herself lately. She is sleeping in really late. Normal wake up time for her use to be around 7am. Not anymore though...it's more like 10 or 11 am now. This doesn't just drive me insane, but Kolby too! So, this morning, he decided to try to wake her up by jumping on her bed chanting, "wake up Zoe!" Tehehehe

She was less than impressed to say the least!

When she started whining for us to stop, Kolby suddenly took her side, asking me to just let her sleep.

So, we left, but not before taking a couple of pictures of her art work hanging on her wall for all of you!

Yesterday, we stopped by Blockbuster to buy some of their previously viewed movies while they are on sale, 1/2 off! While there, Kolby found a new XBox game, The Incredibles, that he just HAD to have! So, of course, after trying to wake up Zoe, he was ready to play his new game.

Of course, he is still absolutely loving his new bed! I still haven't managed to get his computer put in and hooked up on his new built in desk, but eventually I will get there. I promise Kolby!

Jeff left for work a little early this morning so that he could stop by and check out the campers there on base. It would seem that we have decided to rent one to take to NATS this summer. Oh, did I mention that I AM going with him after all? I'm so super excited about this....I think he is too! Tehehehe

Isn't he just the most handsome man that you have ever seen? I know, I know, I'm biased, but that doesn't make me any less right!
I have gone a bit plant crazy lately. While some people turn to chocolate for stress relief, I seem to have taken up the hobby of collecting plants. Tehehehe. It's amazing. I don't know what has happened to me. I have never been able to keep a plant alive for any length of time in the past. I mean, have you ever TRIED to kill off an ivy? It's almost impossible.....but I always managed to do it....and quickly! And now, now all of these plants are beautiful and healthy...even the ones outdoors! WAHOO!!! This one here is my absolute favorite though.
