Finally getting to it......
I've been meaning to post pictures of some of the areas around town that are flooding! I just kept forgetting though. Note that the pictures aren't great as they are being taken by either me or Zoe as we are driving down the roads, but you will get the idea just the same. There are several more locations throughout town that are flooded and even some that are still completely shut down and evacuated. It's crazy I tell you!          I bet you thought I was over exaggerating when I was complaining about all of the rain huh? Tehehehehe. The hotel that is pictured above had to evacuate everyone by canoe! *laughs hysterically* Add to that, that all of the people brought in from other cities by TXU and other companies due to the storm last week............yep..........they were all staying at THAT hotel and all of their trucks are now stuck there. Ruined, I'm sure! Just blows my mind sometimes. |
