A Little Better
Holy Schmokes!

I can't believe that it is Wednesday already!

Where in the heck did this week go?!?!?!

We are getting married in JUST 3 days now and I have a million things to get done! ACK!!!! We are both super excited about this weekend and are counting down the hours! YAY for us!!!

We have been asked by several people what we would like for wedding gifts. First and foremost, that is not at all necessary. Some don't seem to believe that though! I was amazed at what a hard time either one of us had coming up with anything within a reasonable price range that we wanted or needed. I mean, there's the obvious.....awesome SLR camera, camcorder, 56" flat TV, Class A or even large C motorhome, batteries and transmitters for the airplanes, pay off the car, pay off the house............*laughs hysterically* Any of the above would be more than fine with us! Seriously though, I will see if I can get together a list of stuff or registry somewhere by the end of the day. I'm honestly at a complete loss though.........so we will see.

Kolby got up at 7:30 this morning to go out fishing and feeding the ducks with Grandpa Walter. He was ecstatic about getting to go and bolted out the door without so much as a kiss, screaming "I love you too Mom" as he hurled himself into Walter's truck! Tehehehe. He got home around 11 this morning VERY cranky because he wasn't done playing with grandpa yet.....fishing, feeding the ducks and playing on the playground was not his idea of a complete day! Apparently he wanted to go to the arcade too! Oh, the horror.........he cried and cried and looked like this within 20 minutes of getting home! *laughs*

Ozzy and Smokey seem to still be recovering from their long trip with us too and decided to follow Kolby's lead over on the couch!

No big plans for the day. Some housecleaning, chitter chattering with Susan up at the coffee shop....OH YEAH! I forgot to tell everyone that she is shutting down the shop to allow us to get married up there! Oh my gosh! It's just "perfect" for us and we are both thrilled with this decision! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU SUSAN!!!! I have to call the judge that will be marrying us to arrange for getting together with her Saturday afternoon, go get the pump from Pop's so that we can drain the water out of the pool and hopefully get the liner back in tomorrow or Friday and.........hmmm...I feel like I'm missing something. Oh well...that will do for the day! Tehehehe

One last thing......if you wouldn't mind keeping my Pop's in your thoughts and sending him some positive energy, I would appreciate it! He had to have a stint put in neck on Monday. Apparently, he had 95% + blockage in the carotid artery. Apparently the blockage was just as the vein forks, so there was very little blood reaching either fork of the vein. I wish they would have found this years ago, but at least they have found it and hopefully surgically fixed the situation. Pop's came through the surgery just fine and was even heavily flirting with the nurses! Tehehehe....going so far as to growl while one was listening to his breathing through the stethoscope. When she asked why he was growling, he told her, "to see if you could hear it!" To which she responded, "well, yes I can hear it, but I would rather be able to hear your breathing!" I rolled in the floor laughing when my mom and Aunt Marsha told me about this. Anywho, they let him go home yesterday and according to him, he feels better than he has in YEARS! Well, I guess so.....his brain is able to function at more than 5% capacity now!

And on that note, I'm outta here for the day.

XOXOXOXOXOXOXO
