Welcome to our crazy corner of the world! Since we have family that is spread across the country, we decided to set up this blog so that
those that we love and miss would have an even better glimpse into our daily lives.
Sit back and enjoy. Hopefully, you will enjoy the ride as much as we do!
Love, Jeff, Shelly, Zoe & Kolby

Zoe left last weekend to go camping with her friend Brittany & their family up in Oklahoma. She was super excited as this is the 5th summer that she has gone with them. Unfortunately, she fell ill last night. Supposedly anyway. I ended up having to run to get her this morning. I swear that I feel like I live on the road more than anything lately. Anywho, she is home now and doesn't appear to be the least bit sick. I'm going with, she just missed us all too much and HAD to come home!
When we got home, there was this enormous box on the front porch from Pro Flowers. Confused, I asked Jeff if he ordered something from them. Nope. Not him. Wow! I was speechless at the beauty inside the box. Cheryl and Bill had sent us this amazing bouquet of white roses welcoming us all into the family and congratulating us on the engagement and wedding. Thank you both so very much. Between the sweet card today and the email you sent the other day Cheryl, I keep getting all teary eyed! Good ones of course!
Oh, I suppose that I haven't actually announced it here, but Jeff popped the big question "traditionally" Monday night. We have set the date for July 28th. All four of us are overly excited and will be holding a very small service with just Jeff, myself and the kids. So, hopefully, one of us have already phoned you to fill you in and you aren't learning about it by reading the blog, but if you are.......our BIGGEST apologies! We thought we had everyone covered!
The pool is coming along. Not quickly or easily though. It is completely drained and the liner has been removed. Jeff spent the morning filling cracks in it and is guessing that the water that had been leaking out from the split pipe just never had the time to dry out. Me, I haven't a clue. Tehehehe. I just sit and wait for it to get fixed. I guess he is hoping to get the liner back in tomorrow or something. Not really sure of the plan yet, but it's back to being ugly! At least it isn't as ugly as it was the first time around! Tehehehe
Sissy is doing super well. She is back to the regular old Sissy that we use to know. I asked the vet yesterday when she called to check on Sissy if we could get more sedatives now that she is back to normal, but the vet just laughed! I really think that she thought I was joking! *grins* I suppose that Sissy was a little peeved at Jeff yesterday since he didn't really give her any attention when coming home from work and then went outside to work on the pool and visit with the other dogs. She pulled off quite the amazing escape from her little kennel area and proceeded into the living room where she left Jeff 6 piles of surprise! Now, Jeff was only home for a small break at work and had to be back. Of course he couldn't leave the living room like that, so he cleaned it up and then steam cleaned the carpet real quick. I came home to see the steam cleaner out and fans blowing on the carpet and began scratching my head wondering what on earth got into him! *laughs* Thankfully, he called me to fill me in.
Ozzy is turning out to be a wonderful AND highly amusing member of the family. He is super spastic if you are up and moving but as soon as you sit down, he crashes out hard! We are just amazed each time he does it! He has also claimed the bed in our room and the couch in the sunroom as his domain! Tehehehe
