NATS Adventure: Day Five
| We're in Muncie, IN, at the flying field. We got super lucky and are camping on the line that Jeff is flying for the first two days of the contest! YAY! It's so nice being right here on the site. No pictures today. Jeff is out flying and I opted to stay in the camper with the dogs. You know, vegging out and decompressing from our "little" adventure thus far! It's been nice to not drive all day long and even nicer to just sit around playing on the computer and doing crossword puzzles. Know the best part though? Absolutely NO big issues! YAY for us!!! Jeff is already clearly in "competition" mode. More so than I think I have ever seen him. Tehehehe. He's extremely nervous, focused and scatter brained all at the same time. Me? I just can't wait for the contest to start! I'm so excited to be here that I can hardly stand it! I really do love watching him fly and the people that are a part of this hobby ~if you will~ are genuinely nice, fun people to be around. I look forward to getting to see all of the guys just as much as I do getting to see Jeff fly and kick their butts! Tehehehe Not much else planned for the night. More tomorrow.
