NATS Adventure: Day Nine Finals
| The airplanes and camper are completely packed up and ready to hit the road after the anxiously awaited awards ceremony in a couple of hours. The weather has been beautiful all day, which is quite a nice change from all of the cold rain that we have had all week long out here. We didn't even have to use the sweatshirts and blankets this morning to stay warm! YAY! Jeff did a bang up job today flying and is super happy with himself and his performance. He just keeps saying that he doesn't remember the last time he had so much fun flying at a contest! That makes me incredibly happy. He refused to look at the scoring as they brought it out after each flight, but I didn't have that much will power! Tehehehe. I had to run and grab his score sheets the second they came out! He got hosed on the first two flights by one of the judges, who has now been added to my "hit list"! MUwahahahaha. I'm sure that some drama on the forums will blow up about that though and the guy that did it will pay the consequence by not being allowed to judge anymore. Or at least I hope anyway. All in all though, both Jeff and I feel very confident going into the awards ceremony. And after all, this is about having fun right? Tehehehehe....Jeff would say yes.......as long as he places well anyway! *laughs* Anywho, here are a bunch of pictures from flying today!
