NATS Adventure: Day Ten
| Well, we drove until about 11pm last night and finally stopped at a Motel 6 somewhere in....hmmm.....I don't even know what state we were technically in! *laughs* How funny is that?!?!?!? What I do know though is just how good it felt to finally sleep in a REAL bed! Oh my goodness, I thought I was in heaven! We got an early start this morning with being on the road at 8am today. The drive home was actually a lot easier on us than the drive getting there. Oklahoma roads still suck royally, but we had to make a lot fewer stops, didn't damage the truck or the trailer any further, Ozzy only puked once this time and the truck seemed to be pulling a lot better.....which meant that most of the time, we were actually able to drive right at the speed limit rather than 10-15 below it! Tehehehe! Yay for us! We pulled up to the house at 8:30 this evening only to see Zoe bolting out of the front door and straight for the truck, jumping up and down screaming to open the door already. Unfortunately for her, I had to actually wait until the truck actually came to a complete stop! Tehehehe. Oh gosh, it felt so good to finally see our home again. We missed everyone like crazy! And when we walked into the house, it felt like a huge celebration! The kids had made a big welcome home poster and decorated with streamers and balloons everywhere! *gushes* I love, love, love that kind of stuff!    We are so incredibly blessed! Luckiest little (or not so little anymore) family on the face of the earth! Now, time for a little TLC! |
