Welcome to our crazy corner of the world! Since we have family that is spread across the country, we decided to set up this blog so that
those that we love and miss would have an even better glimpse into our daily lives.
Sit back and enjoy. Hopefully, you will enjoy the ride as much as we do!
Love, Jeff, Shelly, Zoe & Kolby

I woke up super early this morning. I figured that Jeff's surprise would be here by 10am and I still needed to do a bit of cleaning, showering and making sure that he was ready for it to get here! Let's just say that the kids saw their first sign of Bridezilla this morning! Tehehehehe.
Jeff woke up and went to let the dogs and such out. I decided to take this opportunity to listen to the voicemail messages that I had missed from Cheryl when I hit the ignore button on my phone when she called the night before. I couldn't answer it after all, Jeff was sitting right next to me. He asked who called and I told him that it was no one. To which he really started asking more questions. I eventually told him that I couldn't tell him and he laughed.
About 11 am this morning, Jeff suggested that we go out to get some lunch. By this time, I knew that Bill & Cheryl were going to be here around noon, so I suggested that we wait about an hour and offered to make him some coffee to hold him over. When he questioned why in an hour, the only response that I could come up with was that the timing would just work out better for our schedule! Tehehehe....has anyone figured out how terribly I suck at lying yet?!?!?! Regardless of how silly my answer was, he accepted it and drank his coffee. Of course, being rushed off to shower and such, probably didn't make him anymore curious about what was REALLY going on!
Jeff kept saying that he couldn't believe that his dad hadn't called yet. I just played along acting like I was surprised by this too. I could barely contain myself though. I was so excited to see Jeff's face when he saw his dad at our house and then I MISSED it because I was helping Kolby wash his hair! Dang it!!!! The story goes though, Bill called Jeff and was yacking it up with him and then told him to look out in his front yard. This is apparently when Jeff "bolted running" out the door! Tehehehe.
We sat around and visited for a little bit and then decided to head over to Texas RoadHouse for lunch. Yummy!
Of course, the opportunity to take a picture with #24 couldn't be passed up!
Never fear! Zoe was certain to not let a photo opportunity pass her by either. She and Brittany road with Bill & Cheryl in their "HOT" little rental, a Mitsubishi Eclipse. Be sure to notice the Beavers shirt that Cheryl brought for Zoe. Tehehehe....Kolby got one too, which only made him start singing the "let's go Beavers" chant over and over and over again! Poor Bill.
Isn't this fun guys?!?!?!?
After getting back home, it didn't take Kolby anytime at all to suck Bill into the XBox! *laughs*
OOH OOH!!! And we can't forget about the AWESOME present that Bill and Cheryl brought for me and Jeff!!!! A HUGE bag of freshly roasted espresso beans! WAHOO!!!!!
