Hehehehe
Jeff's been working nights this week, so we took advantage of him going in after noon today and went to get me and the kiddos registered and such on base. Kolby was the most excited about this as he just loves driving out to the 'flying field' as he calls it! Tehehehe

It was a bit of a drama for awhile. Jeff had phoned personnel to make an appointment. No appointments, but they aren't busy, so come on in. All you need are the social security cards, the marriage license and your wifes picture ID. Easy enough. I started to grab their birth certificates too, then thought they would have told him that if we needed them. RIGHT?!!? Apparently not.....as they informed us after finally getting in to get business done. So, we thought that we would go ahead and get mine done and come back to do the kids. No such luck. It seems that they still had his ex-wife listed as his wife. Now we needed the divorce decree.

We came home and grabbed the birth certificates right up, but couldn't find the divorce decree anywhere. Trip downtown for copies anyone? *laughs* FINALLY we made it back to the base and sat down to fill out all of the paperwork and get the ID's. I didn't expect that they would give Kolby one since he is so young, but they DID! To which he proudly exclaimed, "I'm a soldier now! When do I get my gun and training?" *laughs hysterically* I explained to him that he had to finish college before he could do any of that! I guess he's on a mission now trying to get ready for college! Tehehehe

And off down the hall we head to get the car stickered. Hmm....leave it to a government office to be closed on Thursdays eh? That will get done another day I suppose. Tehehehe....along with the TriCare and a few other things as we were out of time by that point!

Afterwards, I took the kids out to get their school supplies. We decided to hit the BX since it was close to home. Unfortunately, they didn't have A LOT of what we needed. I found this odd since the majority of the kids at this base attend the kids school. Oh well. Then off to mom's to check on her after her dentist appointment and see what all she had picked up in the way of supplies already. Luckily she had most everything that we didn't have already. Getting up ready to leave to head to the grocery store, it started raining. This is when I realized that perhaps I would make the trip to the commissary instead of United. See, all of the dogs were out in the backyard and the weather was looking pretty ugly. Yeah, it couldn't have given me the 20 minutes to get home and put them away. Oh no, half way there, the down pours started. WAIT!!! Isn't this the summer/drought months? Not this year obviously! Tehehehe. Enough rain already, we are soaked through and through. Poor puppies were less than impressed at being outside for all of this! Particularly Smokey.

Anywho, it was so yucky that I opted out completely on going to any store. Instead, we are having a mexican fiesta for dinner! WAHOO!!!

Jeff should be home any minute, and for those of you (Bill) looking for him, I promise that he will get a stern talking to about forever leaving his cell phone off! Okay, so maybe it will be more like "baby, you might want to consider turning on your cell phone more often cause your dad called me a little worried that he couldn't reach you for a couple of days!" In case anyone has missed it......Jeff is the worst about keeping his cell phone turned on! No worries though, he is wonderfully well. But you know, we do have a house phone you could try! Tehehehehe

And on that note, I'm off to finish up laundry, dinner and wait for Jeff to get home so that we can finally watch Big Brother. YAY! I love Big Brother nights! Tehehehe

Hugs and kisses to everyone out there! We love you all!!!
