It's official
| We have spent almost all day running and getting the kids enrolled in their new school. YAY! It's finally done and they are both super excited about this change. The only thing that worries me is Zoe. It seems that she won't get her schedule until right before the bell rings to get to class on the first day of school. Hmmm, this is a girl that has been in a tiny, tiny charter school where there is no possible way of ever getting lost or having to hunt for something! Well, that's not the only thing that I am worried about. They start school on the same day at the same time and the school's are 15 minutes apart from each other. I can't possibly take them both and be there for both of their first days. *insert very sad face here* I'm not dealing with that very well, but I made Zoe feel better about my not taking her to school by informing her that Jeff has already volunteered to take her to school..........in the Porsche none the less! Tehehehe, needless to say, she wasn't so concerned about my not taking her. I'm still very concerned about being able to hold myself together with Kolby though. I'm not sure what I am going to do with not having him here with me all of the time. Yuck! Perhaps home school? Muwahahaha....kidding! Zoe is out shopping again with grandma spending her $30 she got from Kohls for spending $200 last week! Tehehehe. Jeff is still at work, but should be home fairly soon since he was opening this morning. Kolby is out in the pool with Alexis. She came by to swim for a couple of hours. And the dogs, they are all in and out of the pool, except for Smokey. He's hiding on the couch in the sun room! *laughs* He's such a big baby. Last night, Zoe gave both Ozzy and Smokey and bath. Neither one of them liked it very much, but Smokey was so made that he ran, jumped in my arms soaking wet and finished off the night by snipping at everyone that attempted to touch him! And Bill, I want you to know that every time Kolby walks by the refrigerator, he points out the picture of you and Jeff and proudly notes that is his grandpa Bill. Then immediately asks when he gets to see Grandpa Bill again! I can't help but laugh...you have made quite the impression on him it would seem! And on that note, I'm off to start getting the steaks ready for dinner! Yum. |
