Welcome to our crazy corner of the world! Since we have family that is spread across the country, we decided to set up this blog so that
those that we love and miss would have an even better glimpse into our daily lives.
Sit back and enjoy. Hopefully, you will enjoy the ride as much as we do!
Love, Jeff, Shelly, Zoe & Kolby

Zoe left for Dallas last Friday to spend a week and a half there with her cousins. Kolby ended up going and staying the entire weekend at mom's house catching up with Walter. This meant that Jeff and I were completely without kids for an entire weekend! WOW! That's all that I can say. I forget how quiet the house is without them. I also forget how CLEAN the house stays too! Tehehehe. It was a wonderful break and we pretty well bunkered into the house and hid from the world for the most part. Schweet!
I picked up Kolby yesterday afternoon before running out to do a little shopping. Dunlaps here is closing their doors for good and everything is 75% off. So, I figured I would go take a look. OY! I found this bedroom suite that I would kill to have. Amazingly beautiful I tell you. And it was actually a complete set with 2 night stands, dresser, mirror, armoire, tall boy and a king size bed all wood and just beautiful. The regular sticker price for the set is just shy of $13,000 but with all of the discounts, it is not just over $3,000. *pouts* I know we can't afford it, but it was beautiful! After leaving Dunlaps, we went over to PetSmart to buy a razor to shave Sissy. She's looking pretty yucky right now and I'm sure the heat is killing her with five million pounds of fur to carry around! Tehehehe. While there, Kolby finally broke me down and I bought him a beta fish. He's so excited! Any guesses on what he named it? Oh yeah, Furball! *laughs* Let's hope this Furball has a longer life than the last one named that!
Last night, around 10:30, we grabbed Kolby up and ran out into the middle of no where to watch the meteor showers. It was so nice sitting out in the darkness with only nature there to keep us company. We only saw one that was truly awesome, and unfortunately, Kolby missed it. He didn't seem to mind though. He was having a heck of a time pretending to see them! Tehehehe. We packed back up into the car sometime around midnight and came back home. I would have been content sitting there all night I think, but Jeff was a tad bit disappointed by the lack of continuous action in the sky. Something tells me that flying during these things and getting to see them from the air with night vision goggles has likely spoiled him just a tad bit! *grins*
Perusing through my computer, I found some pictures that Zoe apparently took and downloaded to my computer before she left for her trip. I figured I would share them with you.
Nope, she's not a ham at all eh? Tehehehehe.....we love and miss you tons baby!
