Almost Over
Well, it's Sunday, which happens to be my favorite day of the week. I ended up not going to the contest. I came home with a migraine after class yesterday and Zoe was babysitting, so I just opted to stay home. No news on if Jeff won or not, but he's had some awesome rounds! Unfortunately, our dear friend, Keith Black, had a mid air collision today and totalled his Brio. This is always horrible to hear and we feel for you Keith!

And this morning was an absolute blast here on the home front. Jeff and Kolby's Halloween costumes came in the mail yesterday. So, while Zoe was off in her room this morning, I opened the boxes. I just couldn't resist putting on Jeff's butcher mask to scare her. On the mask went and then I snuck down the hallway towards her room, just barely peeking my head around the frame of her opened door. I stood there watching her dance for a minute before she started turning around. Her jaw hit the floor, eyes bugged out of her head, hands immediately covered her mouth and I swear she screamed for a solid 30 seconds before she bolted out of her room screaming "MOM!!!!" We both ended up on the floor crying from laughing so hard. Then we laughed all the way to my mom's house to pick her up so that we could go buy Zoe's new camera! Yep, she had officially saved $250.00 after getting paid to babysit last night. I'm so incredibly proud of her and the camera is just awesome! Way to go Zoe!!!!

Jeff should be home in a few hours, but most likely won't make it back in time for the family dinner. It looks like I will be going to Dallas tomorrow with mom. She has rented a booth there in the market to start her own business. She is so excited and I can't wait to finally get to go to market! YAY ME!!!

I have one more week of CASA training and then we get sworn in on Oct. 4. I spent the last half of training listening to Dr. Kitchens lecture and doing our CASA instructors hair for the 60th Anniversary Air Force Ball that was held last night. Tehehehe. Then, I got to sit around in a completely empty house. You would think I would have enjoyed that kind of change, but honestly I didn't care much at all for it! *laughs* What can I say, I'm a people kind of person.

Kolby is having a blast at grandma's. He hates when Walter has to leave town for work and this time, he was gone for a solid two weeks. At least he will be home this weekend and next weekend!

That's about it for now. Zoe will probably upload the pictures from her new camera later that she takes at the family dinner today, so be looking for that!

By the way Zoe, did I mention how proud I am of you!!!!! We love you baby!
