For a Stay at Home Mom.....
| I sure seem to run around like a chicken with my head cut off. So, I'm frequently asked why it is that I am so tired by so early in the evening. Hmmm...here's an example from today for ya..... 6am wake up This is when I make my first cup of cofee, sit down check my email and just have my quiet moment until...... 6:45am when I go in and attempt to wake Kolby up and start getting him ready for school 6:55am I'm making sure that Zoe is out the door so that she catches the bus 7:50am I'm running out the door with Kolby to get him to school on time 8am I'm in the school workroom running copies and laminating stuff 8:30am I'm in one of the kindergarten teacher's classroom assisting the class while test taking 9:30am I'm back to the workroom making more copies and stapling pages 10:10am I'm back in said kindergarten teacher's classroom to further assist after the freedom walk 11:50am I'm loading myself up in the truck and driving across town to get the tire fixed 12:05pm I've dropped off the truck and walked a couple of blocks down the road to my bank to change my last name, address and such with them 12:45pm I'm walking back to the tire place 1:15pm I'm loading up in the truck 1:20pm I'm walking into the social security office to get my card updated with my new name 1:45pm Props to the s.s. office, I'm loading myself back into the truck 1:50pm I'm filling up Jeff's truck with gas 2:00pm I'm running Jeff's truck through the car wash and cleaning out the inside 2:20pm I'm pulling into a craft mall to pick up information on renting a booth for mom 2:30pm I'm pulling up at mom's house to drop off the sheet of information and chat with her for just a minute 2:30pm I'm loading back up into the truck to drive back to our side of town to pick up Kolby from school 2:50pm I pull up to Kolby's school 3:00pm load up both me and Kolby into the truck 3:05pm check the mail 3:10pm walk into the house 3:15pm run outside to put the big dogs in their kennels as it started pouring down rain 3:20pm call CASA to schedule exit interview for when I complete my training at the end of this month 3:30pm update blog real quick 3:40pm start laundry 3:45pm check the kid's folder and start working on homework 4:30pm start dinner 5:00pm shove dinner down the kid's throats 5:40pm load up both kids into the truck so that we can get Zoe to girl scouts on time 6:00pm drop Zoe off at girl scouts 6:10pm swing by the grocery store to pick up the essentials 7pm pick up Zoe from girl scouts 7:20pm get home 7:30pm feed Lucky his special diet 8pm get the kids in the bath/shower and ready for bed 8:30pm send the kids off to bed 8:45pm hopefully I can muster the strength to get myself a shower 9pm falling asleep on the couch already While some of the errands change from day to day, rest assured that someone, somewhere that works a "real" job, needs done.
