In Over My Head?
| Hehehe. In absolutely NO particular order b/c I love random. 1. New CASA volunteer, completing 30 hours of training this month AND homework every week. 2. Agreed to work in the workroom for the PTO for two hours every Tuesday and Friday morning....assuming at the time of agreement that I had NOT been chosen for Kolby's class room mother. 3. Informed yesterday that I WAS in fact chosen to be the room mother for his class. Thankfully, she chose TWO of us for that job! 4. Husband, 2 kids and 5 dogs (2 of which require as much attention as a small child) 5. Girl Scouts every Tuesday evening. 6. Martial Arts every Monday and Friday evening. 7. Housework. Thank goodness Zoe is assigned to some of that in order to receive her allowance every week. 8. Laundry.....the never ending piles of laundry. YAY! not 9. A brand new car that is in the shop on average, once a month thus far. 10. THREE personal promises to myself A)to get my scrapbooking out and caught up.....and staying caught up. This will take FOREVER to get caught up! B)to start a new cross stitching pattern...it's so relaxing C)to start walking again. 2 miles a day...which means having to wake up at 5am. It's just too hot any time after that and by the evening hours I'm just too tired. 11. 3 more pattern contests to go....I won't make the one this month due to CASA training though. 12. I MUST have a garage sale the first or second weekend of October. 13. Organizing a golf tourney that will take place sometime in late spring/early summer. 14. Organizing another AIDS fundraiser for the last weekend of November. 15. Oh and the combination of socials/volunteering and such for both the officers spouses club and the wives of all the pilots club .... there really should be a name for that...or maybe there is and I just don't know it yet! Muwahahaha 16. I'm sure there's more, but I'm stopping there. I'm sure that everyone gets the idea. Now, I know, that my life is no different than anyone else's. We are all super busy in our lives, but I just realized last night that I MADE mine this busy intentionally. How incredibly silly am I? *shakes head* Anywho, time to go wake up Kolby to get ready for school and do his chores. Zoe is just about ready to walk out the door to catch the bus. You'll likely hear more from me as I'm sitting here for the day waiting for the repair man to come fix our oven! WAHOO! |
