Motivation
| Seems to be my issue as of late. I just can't seem to get back into the swing of school being back in session. I haven't given up hope yet today though of the promise I made yesterday. Lots of training going on lately between CASA and the PTO. Getting Girl Scouts back into the swing of things and Kolby registered for his martial arts class. Then there was the cleaning out of the spare room and finding a much better way to get all of that organized. I can say one thing though. I'm REALLY looking forward to Jeff going back to more "normal" hours than the night flying hours he has been working this week. I get up, get the kids off to school, come home and hang out (doing absolutely nothing that needs to get done) with Jeff until he leaves for work and then it seems like I only have 1/3 of the time I need to get all of my errands and work done before it is time to pick up Kolby from school. And honestly, once the kids are home, I feel as if my housework is done....whether it is or not, that's just the end of my working day. Then of course, there is the fact that really, the only time I get to spend with him during these weeks are in the morning.....and forget him getting to hang out with the kids as it's bed time by the time he gets home....and they miss him too! ARGH! I'll get it down sooner or later though. Hopefully. Tehehehe. Anywho, we have Girl Scouts tonight and both kids have a lot of homework. So, at the very least (if I don't get the detailed/photographed update like I promised yesterday), you have this pointless update! Muwahahaha. Oh, did I mention that I still need to make dinner too? I thought that finally having both kids at school was going to mean more ME time! Pfft.....what WAS I thinking? *laughs* |
