YAY!!!
Well, after MUCH excitement yesterday morning due to me not setting my alarm clock and Zoe missing the school bus, we got this weekend started off with a bang! Nothing like waking up to a knock at the door and hearing, "mom.....I missed my bus, you are going to need to drive me! HURRY!" Muwahahaha. My reply was, "not without my coffee!" No worries though, she got there and Jeff walked Kolby to school while learning the lesson that walking and eating a poptart at the same time is not a good combination for Kolby! Tehehehe. He got there too though.

We dug out all of the camping gear yesterday morning. I learned that I really need to create a spot in the garage for everything that we take camping so that it is MUC easier to gather up in the future. Then, I left Jeff cleaning the pool so that I could go to the store while he finished up that and picked up Kolby from school. See, there was a roll call at Iron Horse Pub yesterday at 3:30. I knew that I wasn't going to want to go grocery shopping after that, so I had to get it done before. I got everything in the cart and then waited in line to check out for 25 minutes before leaving the cart there full and walking out! It was 3:45 and didn't want us to miss getting to go the pub.

I'm really glad that I didn't stick around with the groceries! We had sooo much fun. I met one of the guys girlfriends and she was an absolute doll. We sat at the pub until almost 7 and then drove over to the Oyster bar for dinner. The only thing that stinks about doing something like that soooo early in the day is that having a few drinks only makes me super tired. So, after laughing it up for hours, I went straight to bed when we got home at 8:30. Okay, so being so tired isn't the only thing that sucks. Waking up at 5:30 in the morning because I was sound asleep by 9 the night before really bites too! Tehehehe.

Anyway, it's now 7am. I'm almost done with my giant size caramel machiato and will be leaving to hit the grocery store in about 20 minutes. Then, we will load up the truck and car with all of the camping gear, both kids AND all FIVE dogs! Muwahahahaha. Yes, yes, we are absolutely INSANE! On a really funny note though.....Jeff asked last night, "you mean we AREN'T taking the portable DVD players?" *laughs hysterically* No, we aren't. THAT'S NOT CAMPING!!!! Have no clue what time we will be home Monday, but I will update as soon as I have the energy. I'm guessing Tuesday.

Bill, we hope you kicked some serious butt at the competition. Cheryl, hope you had an absolute blast with finally being able to just sit back and relax at the contest. And both of you work out your Christmas plans to get here for the holiday!!!!:)

Dad & Pauline, hope you had a fantastic time in Toledo Bend. Wish we could have worked out going there instead of Copper Breaks this weekend, but no worries....we are working on a plan for that! Would have loved to seen all of you. We miss you terribly!

Our love to all of you!
