Long Week
I should have made an entry by now, but frankly it just seems too boring to sit and tell everyone about volunteer work, the kids school work and all of that fun stuff! tehehehe. I put in around 30 hours this week at the school and about 5 with CASA. The kids had a pretty good week at school. Zoe decided this morning that riding the bus wasn't so great anymore when she thought she was going to freeze to death before the bus arrived. How do I know this you ask? Because she called me asking me to please just drive her to school....it was too cold! We are in that wierd phase of the year where we are needing to use both the heater & the air conditioner each day! *laughs* It's pretty cold throughout the night and in the early morning, but hot the rest of the day! Kolby is having a tough time refraining from talking during carpet time at school and has come home with a yellow mark for conduct twice. He made up for it today though apparently, as he came home with purple! GO KOLBY!!!

Jeff and I went out to Iron Horse Pub last night with all of his co-workers to welcome in all of the pilots that flew in for the air show this weekend. If you are in Wichita Falls, it's not one to be missed. We had a great time last night and are heading out with Kolby shortly to watch them practice. Zoe is babysitting the quads tonight, which means that I haven't stolen her babysitting job just yet! tehehehe.

So, here we are, it's Friday!

The big announcement for the week is that Jeff got "half orders". Meaning, he got the official notice that he is going to Korea, but we are still waiting for the date he will actually leave. We also found out that there is a small chance he will get to go do his recertification in San Antonio rather than Luke. That would be so wonderful! He would be so much closer to home. It's funny, we've known the orders were coming, and we were pretty certain of what they would be, but I'm still devestated. I just don't want him to leave and as long as we didn't get those orders, I suppose it wasn't really a reality. Silly, I know. He's relieved a bit though......to know for sure that he's getting back into the F-16 at least. I am too honestly, I know how much that means to him.

Anwho, I need to go get dressed and ready to head out to the base. I think we might stop by and pick up some dinner and make a picnic out of watching them practice. Hopefully we will get some pictures posted sometime this weekend, so keep your eyes peeled.

Hugs and kisses to everyone!
