WOW!
| That's all that I can say. I THOUGHT that when Jeff and the kids were all back at work and school that things would slow down some. Boy, was I ever WRONG! My newest CASA case has more than kept me running. I spent almost the entire week on that alone last week. Well, except for Friday. Friday I spent in the doctor's office with Zoe most of the day. She had surgery on both of her big toes that day to remove the sides due to ingrown toenails. She was a real trooper though and I'm super proud of her for how well she handled it all. Of course, she was really angry that she had to miss school for it and kept asking me why doctor's aren't open on Saturdays so that kids don't have to miss school. Yes, yes, we are blessed with having probably one of the only children ever to be upset about having to miss a day of school. She seemed most upset that she had to miss Science which has become her absolute favorite class. YAY Zoe! Kolby has been extra busy reminding me daily of everyone that he wants to invite to his birthday party this week. Whew...got it Kolby. EVERYONE in your class and then some have been invited. He's just bouncing off the walls over that one. Then there is the whole Star Wars thing. Everyday, we have to watch one of the movies. Tehehehe. Remind me to thank Jeff for that later. Oh well, at least it's not Barney or something like that! *laughs* Last Thursday, I got to go to the Dallas market with mom. I really needed it too. It was nice to get away for a bit and get to spend time with mom. One would think that as close as we live to each other that we could do that whenever we wanted, but it really is a rare occassion that we get to spend time together where it is just me and her. We both really needed the break after our weeks and I finally found the perfect clock for our living room! It's enormous (about 5'X5'). I can't wait to pick it up this weekend and bring it home to put on our mantle. I hope Jeff likes it! Tehehehe....too late for that now though. It's ours! Today, in about an hour actually, I get to go have the same surgery that Zoe had last Friday. YAY me....NOT! THEN, I get to go straight to the dentists office for my cleaning. Gag. Barf. Puke. Have I mentioned that I strongly dislike the dentist? Next week, the kid's are both scheduled for those. Other than that, there really isn't much else going on. Sorry it has taken me so long to update this thing. Hopefully things will start slowing down after getting through the birthday parties and the back to school thing is finally back in routine!
