| Yes, yes, I know, the blog has been seriously neglected! I guess that's what happens when you have two kids birthday parties, several court appearances that must be made for CASA, the flu and bronchitis! Tehehehe. To say it has been hopping crazy around here doesn't even begin to cover it. Last Sunday though, it all slowed down drastically.....for me anyway. I started feeling ill while at mom's house for family dinner a week ago today. So, I left Jeff and the kids there and came home early to lay down. Since I had taken my brother Michael to the hospital just a few days before that where he was diagnosed with the flu, I was a little concerned. First thing Monday, I went in to see the doctor and sure enough. I had the flu! ACK! Fevers over 103 and just all over yuckiness. Thankfully I got in to see the doctor quick enough that they could give me some medicine to make me get over it quicker and by Wednesday I wasn't feeling superb by any stretch of the imagination, but I was feeling a lot better. Until that night anyway and by Thursday afternoon, I was ready shoot myself I felt so horrible again. Friday morning I went back to the doctor and lo and behold, he diagnosed me with bronchitis. I swear, sometimes I just can't catch a break.....not true actually. Jeff was my shining light. He made sure the kids got to school every morning, picked Kolby up from school everyday, made dinner each night, kept the house picked up and still took care of me too! He so freaking rocked! I'm incredibly lucky! Anywho, that's why nothing has been done with the blog for so long. Now, you have approximately 100 pictures from Kolby's party to keep you entertained for a day or two anyway; until I can get Zoe's birthday pictures up too! Poor Kolby has to have a tooth pulled tomorrow, so I probably won't update again until the middle of this week. Hope all is well with everyone out there! Sending huge hugs and kisses! |
