Busy Day Yesterday
| After our usual morning espressos, I met mom up at the shop and reorganized the space. It looks really amazing! Then, I came home and started working on the master bathroom. I got all of the fixtures down and the first coat of paint up while Jeff was outside painting the shop. He said it would take him 3 or 4 hours, but approximately 5 hours later, he had only gotten the back side of the shop painted! Tehehehe. By the time he stopped working on it, he had completed about 40% of the work. Today.....after the Easter Bunny visit....I will throw on the second coat of paint in the bathroom and then go outside and start helping him with the rest of the shop painting so that we can finish her up. This leaves us with painting the kitchen, Zoe's bedroom, the primary bath and the sunroom. Yay us.....right? Then comes the hard work! The backyard. I'm still waiting for people to call and volunteer to help with that one! My phone rings even less now that we have started all of these projects! I wonder what that is about. Oh yes, and Zoe had yet another photo shoot yesterday. This time it was here, thankfully. No, literally, it was in our house. It was just basic headshots and the photographer seemed really nice. Hopefully in the next few months, she will be doing another shoot with him. It's a project that he has just started and is 'underwater fashion'. For real! How cool does that freaking sound? Zoe's really excited about this opportunity! We'll post the pictures once we have them. Stay tuned, more to come later of the egg dying that went on last night and the story about Jeff's 'egg tragedy'! |
