Pure Exhaustion
Well, Tera, Jeff, Zoe and myself worked our tails off all day today in the backyard. We have all of the new plants planted and almost all of the mulch down. The only thing left is to put up some of the trim along the back fence line and then the mulch there. I think we planted somewhere around 50 plants today. Thankfully the weather was absolutely perfect to do it and with all 4 of us working on it, we had it done in less than 4 hours....including another trip to the nursery to snag up some more filler plants! Tehehehe.

Then, like the idiot I can be sometimes, I convinced everyone that we needed to jump into the pool to cool down! Let's just say that it's still WAAAY too cold to be swimming! It was so cold that it was like jumping into a bucket of ice water. And poor Tera forgot to take her cell phone out of her pocket before jumping in! Thank goodness for insurance eh!?!?!?

Zoe is thoroughly enjoying her room though! Even despite having a 19" TV! Of course, thanks to my genuis husband, she believes the TV to be 25". Muwahahaha. See, we offered to buy both her and Kolby a 19 or 20" flat TV as their big Christmas presents this past year. That was simply not going to work they said. They questioned how you could even see something on a 19 or 20" screen anyway. So, when Zoe asked what size it was, Jeff immediately, without hesitation, told her that it was a 25". She jumped into our arms thanking us for such a wonderful TV, stating that at least it wasn't a 19", and skipped off happily to watch her amazing new TV! See, I told you......GENUIS! She still hasn't figured it out either. I keep asking her what she thinks of the new TV and asking if it is plenty big and of course she tells me that it is big enough. Pahahaha.

All of the 4-8" river rock that we bought will be delivered on Tuesday. As well as the stone that we bought for the built up flower bed that we are going to make right in front of the shop. So, hopefully by Tuesday evening, the backyard will be completely done and we can finally put up the before and after shots of the yard. Even the nursery we bought all of it from wants those pictures! Tehehehe.

Anywho, Jeff just got home from Lowes, where he bought all of the wood to build the crates for packing his airplane. Sooo, I'm going to go spend some cuddly time with him. Tomorrow, Tera and I are heading off to the Dallas market! YAY us! I'll post pictures of the display that I bought there last time I went and is ready to be picked up now. I so can't wait!

See you all later!
