Long Day
Lots of challenges presented themselves all morning long, but somehow, I managed to mutter through all of them. They delivered Kolby's new bed today and he was super excited about this! So was I for that matter. I loved the bunk bed, but it just took up way too much room and this seems to suit him so much more! First thing this morning, I dropped the big puppies, Benny and Sissy off for their spa day at PetSmart. They just love riding in the car and especially love licking dozens of strangers as they ran through the store! Tehehehe. They are so freaking adorable when they have been shaved!   Kolby asked me tonight while we were all hanging around outside if he could go swimming. My response? Sure, why not? Jump on in there boy! Tehehehe. Boy did he ever. He was all about showing off for Tera tonight too! Wanna see me do a flip? Wanna see me do this? Wanna see me do that? *laughs* He styed in the pool for a lot longer than I thought he would be when did finally get out, he was quick to admit that it was colder than he thought it would be. Or his exact explanation was that the deep end of the pool wasn't cold at all, that was warm, but the shallow end was freezing! Muwahahaha. Aha Kolby...whatever you say!   After swimming, Kolby went in to change into some dry clothes and came out with a face covered in frosting! Tehehehe, apparently he got into the birthday cupcakes that Tera sent to school with Kaia this morning!  And poor old Benny! He just can't catch a break. Apparently, Ozzy is seriously digging on Benny's new hairdo cause he's chased him around the yard all night refusing to stop!    And speaking of Ozzy, the puppies haven't gotten even more spoiled since Jeff left! I swear! So what if they sleep in bed with me most nights now? It's not as if he's made himself at home or something! Tehehehe.  And on that note, I'm going to finish up a couple of things around the house before I head to bed. You see, tomorrow I get to drive down to San Antonio so that I can spend some time with this incredibly handsome man that I just happen to be head over heels with. Shhh, don't tell Jeff though! *grins* I'm super excited that I will get to see him tomorrow and have a little alone time with him, but I'm even more excited that we will get to celebrate two wonderful, amazing things together that I didn't think we would get to do! First, celebrate Jeff pinning Major on the first. Second, celbrating our official one year anniversary of boycotting the evil empire! That's right folks, tomorrow is one year exactly! WAHOO! And life's never been better. See, more people should follow in our footsteps! Our love to you all! |
