Whirlwind
| Well, today was the very first open house and as it would seem, the very last one as well. We received an offer from one of the couples that came to have a look and after several rounds of counter offers, we settled on a price that was quite pleasing to everyone involved. Contracts were just signed by me (at 9:20pm mind you) and our realtor was off to the buyers home to have them sign the contracts as well. Inspector will hopefully be here tomorrow or Tuesday and we should have this deal closed by June 30. So, I guess it's time for me to start house hunting myself! I'm still not sure how I feel about this honestly. I think I'm still in shock to tell the truth. So, we'll see how I feel tomorrow. Regardless, it would appear that this is happening and it's time to start trucking along again! Tehehehe. Tomorrow will be a busy, busy day for me as I will begin checking into the housing situation, hiring movers and all of that glorious stuff! Seriously, who would have thunk it? The house is barely on the market for 24 hours and it's already this far along. Holy schmokes. And on that note, I'm off to bed. It's been a heck of a long weekend! Boy, I can't wait for Jeff to get home next weekend! Hugs and kisses to everyone! |
