How Wonderful
| .......it felt to sleep in for a change! I actually slept until 8:15 this morning! It was fantastic! YAY me! Last night, Zoe and I drove to Grapevine for a casting call at Mouton's Salon. The people were super nice and seemed to really love all of Zoe's images. They are looking for models for their hair editorials and advertisements. Which of course means that she would have a hair change. Anywho, the pay is pretty nice for a 15 year old, plus the new hair style of course. They will provide her wardrobe and make up too! We won't know until Tuesday whether she has been chosen or not, but I think that it all seemed pretty positive. So, keep your fingers crossed for her! If she gets accepted, we will be back in Dallas next Sunday for the shoot! On the way home, Zoe was in extremely rare form. She was actually laughing and talking up a storm. She never shut up for the last 45 minutes of the trip! And it all started by her saying, "I really don't understand how it is that we never just fall off the face of the earth." I said, "It's a little thing called gravity Zoe, come on, you know this." She proceeded to tell me that yeah, she knew that, but "what about when you get to the edge? You know, you get to the end and then there's just like this cliff." I about died! I reminded her that it was a sphere. She reminded me that she knew that. I reminded her that there was no end on a cirlce. She laughed, said "oh yeah, I didn't think about that" and laughed more! I just shook my head. Tehehehehe. Then, came the random story about the best day at school this year. Then came, "no, no, the best day was...." Yeah, for the next 40 minutes, it was her telling me stories that one upped the one she had just told me! It was freaking hilarious! Anywho, we got back into town around 10:30pm. I dropped her off at my mom's house so that she could spend some quality time with grandma....IE shopping time today no doubt! Kolby is there too and I'm sure is bouncing off the walls that he gets to see Walter too! Hopefully I will use this day of quiet to actually start packing the house. I've had the boxes filling the living room now for about 2 weeks and have said every night that the next day I will start packing. It just hasn't happened though! *laughs* I've decided that I'm not going to promise myself anymore that I will start the next day. It will happen when it happens! Tehehehe. Although it does have to happen soon, cause we'll be moving out in a couple of weeks! I soooo can't wait for that! I was really sad about it....still am kind of. BUT...the house is making it so much easier on me! Not only did we have the great flood of 2008, but now the garbage disposal is broken or clogged or something! BLEH! I'm really looking forward to just being able to call a landlord again with the issues and saying...fix it....not my problem! Muwahahaha. On that note, I'm outta here. Let's just see how productive I can be today! Tehehehe Love to you all! |
