Hard Week
Zoe really is putting me through the ringer this week. First, we had to work out her schedule for HIGH SCHOOL this week. UGH. Then, she announces that she is dropping her art class so that she can sign up for Junior ROTC. TOTALLY UNEXPECTED to say the least! As if that wasn't enough.....she then proclaims that she wants to serve her country like her dad....just not flying (she doesn't think she says). Super proud moment. Then of course she opens her mouth again. She continues to tell me that she wants to join after high school. Um, no discussion needed, not going to happen. You will get your bachelors degree at least first. No argument from her. Then we discuss what she would like to do in the Air Force and we start talking about being a pediatrician like she has talked about for quite some time now when she announces that she can't be a pediatrician cause they don't need those in war. And I'll be damned if she doesn't have every intention of going to war! Triple UGH! Hopefully by that time, it won't even be an issue or she will have changed her mind.

The topper on the cake though?

Yep, that's her learners permit she is holding in her hand. She went in and passed the test on the first go around this morning.

So, of course, we decided that she should get a few minutes behind the wheel today.

And of course, what kind of mother would I really be if I didn't get a video of her first time driving. No worries, I waited until about 10 minutes into it so that you didn't have to hear me sreaming and throwing the camera about the whole time! Tehehehe.

No worries, we both survived. Although, I think the heart attack is still happening on my end! :(

Please keep Smokey in your thoughts too. He's in need of some serious positive energy. It would seem he is really sick right now. The vet is coming in the morning to check him out.

Keep me and Zoe in those thoughts too. We're both down with a sore throat and mild fever. ACK. Guess it wasn't just my sinuses again since we both have it. Sooo, it would seem that we are going to try to get in to see the doctor too. Massive UGH!

Anywho, on that note, I'm going to go cuddle up and watch the movie Scream with Zoe and see how often I can make her scream! Muwahahaha.
