Not Much New
| Around here that is. Things are going well, or as well as can be expected anyway. Yesterday I went back to school shopping with mom and Zoe. Yeah, mistake number one. First I really don't like shopping. Second, I really don't like shopping with Zoe! Tehehehe. She is one of the most particular people that I have ever met. Anywho, we ended up spending more than I really planned to let her spend but she is completely set for school to start and has been made well aware that she isn't getting ANYTHING else for quite some time! *laughs* I worked on a couple of projects yesterday. We are having the family birthdays at family dinner this Sunday, and August is the biggest month of the year.....and seems it's only getting bigger with my sister in law, Sara, having her baby any day now! YAY! Anywho, that means it's time to get creative with gift giving! The next few days will be spent doing just that! In the mean time, I took a few pictures to share with everyone! First, during my shopping excursion with mom and Zoe, I did find a little something for me! A new, adorable pair of Crocs!   Mom found us a new wine rack at a garage sale last weekend. It was super cool timing since I had told her that I would purchase one almost identical to it for $150 so that she didn't have to come up with as large of an order from a store at market that we visited last week! This one was a whopping $30! WAHOO! Now I just have to find an antique looking lock with a skeleton key to put on it! Tehehehe.   I also wanted to share my laundry room wall with everyone. I'm pretty sure that I hadn't taken a picture of these yet. I just adore these pictures. I had seen them at a store here locally and fell in love with them but wasn't willing to pay $20 a piece for them. A couple of weeks after seeing them, mom came home all excited about finding these 'GREAT' pictures to sell in the store. You guessed it ladies and gentleman, they were the exact same ones that I had wanted! YAY me!  The sayings on them are things like: You only go around once....but if you do it right, once is enough! You win some, you lose some and some are rained out but you always dress up for the game. You're as young as your shoes make you feel. We've seen it all, done it all...we just can't remember it all. Behind every lucky woman is a best friend saying "go for it!" Friends don't let friends shop alone! They are just so freaking cute! Then of course, we have a new permanent fixture on the kitchen table it would seem. Jeff's box (cardboard container....better Jeff? Tehehehe)! When we ship one out, we put together another one and leave it on the table for everyone to throw stuff in until it's full again. Then we start all over. Last week, Kolby was 100% in charge of what went in the box (cardboard container) and I think Jeff is going to get a really big kick out of it! This time, Zoe is in charge. It could get interesting this time around too! Tehehehe  And what kind of mom would I be if I didn't share pictures of the kiddos in their "usual" state!     Muwahahaha!!!! |
