WAHOO!
| That's what I was screaming as I rode through the neighborhood today and the neighbors stood in their front yards laughing! Oh my gosh!!! It feels like it was an eternity ago since I finished my motorcycle safety course and was on a bike. I finally got my license though. So, it was time to take my baby out for a ride. I suited up in all of my leathers, had Zoe take a few pictures of me and then hopped on the bike. Holy poop, I was scared. I kept thinking that I didn't have instructors to save my butt if I screwed up and wondered if I still remembered anything at all. I kept hesitating on taking off, when Zoe finally yelled at me about how much money I had spent on all of this and that I BETTER ride! Whew, she's a tough cookie. It worked though, I took off and as soon as I got out of the driveway, I was absolutely ecstatic! I rode for around 30 minutes before pulling back into the driveway and starting to take off some of my gear. Then, I looked at Zoe and said, "I can't stop! I HAVE to go back out!" and I did....for another 30 minutes or so!             What can I say? Today was a freaking awesome day! |
