Today's Excitement
Kolby went in this morning for his follow up EEG. All through the tests, everything seemed pretty normal. I was watching over the techs shoulder from my chair and was guessing that he had at least one seizure. She finished up the test, woke up Kolby and started cleaning up his hair when he said he HAD to go to the bathroom. So, I walked him down the hallway and returned back to the tech to finish cleaning up the goop in his hair. That's when he collapsed. Yeah. Long story short, he had another seizure. I insisted on speaking to his doctor or calling 911. The doctor had Kolby hooked back up to the machine for another round of testing. In the end, Kolby had 2 seizures during the first test, the one in the middle and one more during the last test. Talk about scaring the poop out of me! He seems fine tonight. Although, I'm pretty sure it scared him too. Enough so that he opted out of martial arts tonight. Poor thing. |
