Wow
| Well, it's been a long freaking time hasn't it? Things are going somewhat well here. Actually, they are going really well, I just don't feel so great. I really should have believed the doctors when they told me how horrible this surgery really is for adults! Thank God for my mom! She told me that she had taken off last Tuesday too so that she could stay with me and I laughed saying that this surgery wasn't that big of a deal and I would be just fine! Boy was I ever wrong!!!! She stayed all week long as I laid in bed drugged out of my mind. Mom, you completely and totally rock! I love you! I finally had what I considered a "good day" on Sunday. Yesterday was good too but boy do I still feel like poo. I'm ready for this to be all over. The kiddos are all doing well. Kolby had a seizure while in bed with me two nights ago. So, instead of waiting for another EEG in January, we are doing one tomorrow. Which means, we get to spend all night tonight fighting sleep for both of us. Zoe is now on the honor guard for ROTC and is really enjoying it! She has performed twice for the school now. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see either one of them since I was so out of it last week. Jeff comes home in TWO WEEKS!!!!! You simply can't imagine the excitement around our house knowing this. We are more than ready....and I'm pretty sure he is too! Tehehehe. Speaking of Jeff, he has been working his tail off at work running an exercise all week. He's exhausted and frustrated. I've decided that I dislike his job more than he does I think! ;) Other than that, not a whole lot else going on around here. I do have a goal though! Are you ready for this?!?!?!?! My goal is........drum roll please........to finally get all the pictures downloaded and then update them here on the blog this week! Muwahahahaha. Wish me luck everyone. On that note, I'm outta here. I have t-shirts to count and sort and even more importantly, I have to go vote! |
