Welcome to our crazy corner of the world! Since we have family that is spread across the country, we decided to set up this blog so that
those that we love and miss would have an even better glimpse into our daily lives.
Sit back and enjoy. Hopefully, you will enjoy the ride as much as we do!

The kids and I had a an absolutely wonderful day together today. Zoe and I wrapped up her Christmas shopping for her friends while Kolby hung out with Michael and Kim. We also picked up the family pictures we had taken, so be on the look out for those over the next couple of weeks. On the way home, we stopped off at McDonald's for lunch, which somehow managed to turn into a food fight! Which in turn, led to Zoe and Kolby chasing each other through the house!
It was so much fun to watch them laughing and playing, but as always, the old saying, "it's all fun and games until someone loses an eye" just HAD to come into play right? Zoe decided to pop Kolby with a wet towel. Which led to a whole lot of tears and Zoe rolling on the floor laughing. Eventually, I managed to calm Kolby and his tears down by dragging him out to the hot tub with me and Zoe! Here's a shot of Kolby dressing up for more play after the hot tub!
Not long after getting out of the hot tub, the door bell rang. It was our most favorite neighbor ever! She is just such a doll and if I didn't like her so much, I steal that sign that reads, "Welcome: You are among friends here", on her front door! She was dropping off an extra yummy plate of treats for us for Christmas!
I tried to convince Zoe that she would just HATE everything on the plate, but she didn't believe me!
I may not have been able to keep Zoe's hands out of the goodies, but I can sure tell Ozzy NO!!!! And all the begging in the world, won't convince me otherwise!
Yeah, I buckled and gave him a treat anyway. Oh no, not any of these treats though, I gave him one of the cookies that I baked the other day! Tehehehehe.
