Who Knew
| that baking all day long could wear you out so much. Wow, I dropped the kiddos off at school. Well, truth be told, I dropped Kolby off at school. See, I haven't had to drop Zoe off in quite some time since her "friend" Chris picks her up for school every day and brings her home almost every day too. He gets out of school at 2pm, but waits until 3pm when she gets out and gives her a ride. Then, he hangs out at the house for a bit with her. Rest assured though, that despite how much that sounds like a boyfriend, it isn't a boyfriend kind of thing! It's just a good friends kind of thing! Zoe will get really mad at you if you say it sounds like a boyfriend thing! Anywho, back to the point. Where was I? Oh yes, I dropped Kolby off at school at 9:15 this morning, went to the grocery store to pick up a few things, dropped off the last two Christmas packages for Jeff at the post office and then came home to start my baking. 8 dozen cookies, 160 candy canes dipped in chocolate, 150 marshmallows dipped in chocolate with nuts or peppermint or coconut and 2 batches of pralines later, I finally finished at 6pm, just in time to run Kolby to martial arts.           Of course, the puppies were a HUGE help!  Until Kolby got home that is! Then, Benny was giving pony rides for the rest of the time! Tehehehe. He's so funny, he crawls up under Kolby's legs now to get underneath him! It's so freaking hilarious!!!    |
