Fantastic Story
| Mom told her daughter to come straight home after school. 15 minutes pass. Then 30 minutes and finally, 45 minutes later, the daughter walks through the door. The mom immediately jumps her about where she had been. The daughter explains that she was walking her friend home when she dropped her favorite doll and it shattered on the ground. Mom asked, "so you are late because you stayed to help her pick up the pieces and put the doll back together?" The daughter says, "oh no, I couldn't have helped fixed the doll....I sat down with her and helped her cry." Tonight, our officer's spouses group was fortunate enough to have motivational speaker, Dan Clark, speak at our social this evening. I wish that we would have had more time with him, but the time we did have was truly splendid! He shared this story with us. I'm curious, what will you take from that? |
