Remember the Family
| We just received word that one of our very dear friends, Ed Deaver passed away yesterday. Ed was truly an amazing man and will be missed terribly by his friends and family. Edward Eugene Deaver, Jr. Lubbock Avalanche-Journal Thursday, January 22, 2009 Edward Eugene Deaver, Jr., resident of Lubbock, died on Jan. 21, 2009, at the age of 48. Funeral Services for Ed will be 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, 2009, at the First Baptist Church 2201 Broadway. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Family will receive friends and loved-ones on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Resthaven. Ed was born July 13, 1960, in Garden City, Kan., to Edward and Marcy (Baier) Deaver. He married Monica Denise in 2002, and they celebrated six years of marriage. Edward leaves to celebrate his life, wife Monica; daughters, Kelsey and Kaci Smith, Kaela and husband Peter Donbavand; mother and stepfather, Marcy and Jack Culver, of Kan.; father, Edward Deaver, Sr., of Ill.; brother, Kevin and wife Sharon Deaver, of Kan.; and sister, Shelley Dwyre, of Kan.; and many other relatives and friends. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Pancreatic Cancer Research at www.pancan.org or www.lustgarten.org .
