Zoe in Action
| WOW! That's all I can say about Zoe's improvement playing soccer since last year! I spent the day watching her play on both the junior varsity and the varsity teams today. Not only is she super fast (which she has always been), but she was extra agressive and proactive! She rocked all the way around! Here she is hustling and then winning the ball!   Zoe and Marina are best friends and boy do they work well together on the field too!  This new camera of mine is just amazing. And the lens that came with it blows my mind sometimes! I still can't believe that I caught these shots! That's Zoe wearing #12. Watch how high she kicks the ball and still almost scores! Muwahahaha.        It just wouldn't be Zoe if I didn't share pictures of Zoe hitting the ground! After watching her today, I completely understand how she is getting hurt so much. It isn't being clumsy like we thought. She was so freaking aggressive and forward that she was bound to take a flip or two! Unfortunately, I didn't get the best tumble of them all! Once, she got all tangled up in the other teams feet when one of the girls tripped her. She literally did two forward flips on the ground, bounced to her feet and took off running! For a fall, it was freaking awesome!!!!          And just what kind of bragging would it really be if I didn't include the pictures of her first goal on the team?!?!?! Needless to say, she was bouncing off the walls....okay, technically other players....doing her victory dance!       See, look, I told you she was aggressive! Okay, maybe a little more violent than aggressive! Dad would have been so proud!       And finally, just a couple of really cool shots!   After both of the games, I took her out to eat at McAllister's. That's one of Zoe's favorites and then off to pick up Kolby from mom's house. It was a really great day! |
