Poor Smokey!
While we were in Louisiana, Kandice and Chris kept all of our puppies at their house. Saturday night, Kandice called me because Ozzy had attacked Smokey and had eaten part of his ear. Not a large part mind you, but still a chunk of it just the same. Then, when we finally got to pick up the puppies, we realized that Ozzy had gone on attack again that morning apparently! This time, he went after Smokey's leg.   The vet came by late in the afternoon today to check out the injuries. She said that nothing appeared to be broken...thank goodness. Smokey did get 4 staples though and is on pain medication and antibiotics to prevent infection. If you know Smokey, I'm certain that you wouldn't have believed that he could have gotten any more spoiled. You would have been wrong! Tehehehe. Seriously though, he's doing well now and should get the staples out in 10 days! |
