Spouse Appreciation Day
 I spent the morning at the base for an event that was intended to appreciate the military spouse, even if it was the spouses that worked all of the booths! *winks* Anytime you get a bunch of women together, you can pretty well bet your bottom dollar that there will be some sort of drama. So, this day was no different. What should have been a more than pleasant time just wasn't much fun at all. Then, the guy that does the lawn let our dogs into the house using the laundry room door. Which was fine, I told him that he could, but I asked that he please make sure the baby gate was closed first so that they didn't have free run of the entire house! I guess he missed that part though. So, I came home to the trash can being well dug through and dogs lounging all over the furniture! Needless to say, it wasn't a great day!  And no joke, I sent Jeff a message on the computer venting about my day and not 10 minutes later, a beautiful arrangement of flowers and the sweetest card telling me how much Jeff appreciated me and everything that I do greeted me! Suddenly, all of my frustration was simply gone. I HAD to call someone right away to brag about what an amazingly perfect husband I had and how incredibly happy he truly makes me! How lucky am I? I love you baby and thank you again!!!! You so freaking rock! |
