Welcome to our crazy corner of the world! Since we have family that is spread across the country, we decided to set up this blog so that
those that we love and miss would have an even better glimpse into our daily lives.
Sit back and enjoy. Hopefully, you will enjoy the ride as much as we do!
Love, Jeff, Shelly, Zoe & Kolby

It's official, school is out for summer break now! Kolby got to bring home a lot of super cute work that was done throughout the year finally and I just had to share my favorites with everyone!
First, a couple of certificates that he received. One for being a great friend. This was heavily stressed in the classroom and I got to hear all about how other people "weren't being very good friends" when Kolby got in trouble because they had told on him! Tehehehehe. The other for participating in the Hotter'n ICE event. Then, his certificate for honor roll and a picture that they took way early in the year.
His butterfly artwork:
His scary picture for Halloween!
READS: Grandpa Kolby says, when I am 100 years old, I will be a barber. Muwahahaha. Don't ask, I have no idea!
Dressed up as a Christmas present, his note reads: If I were a Christmas present, I would be a toy clone and action figures for Riley because he wants those two. Love, Kolby
During the elections, the class learned the process of electing a president and what it meant to be president. Deciding what they would do if they were president was one of their assignments. While most kids wrote about making sure everyone had somewhere to live, making sure that people had plenty of food or another favorite....giving teachers a pay raise (wonder where that idea came from...tehehehe), Kolby came up with something completely original. His read: If I were elected president, I would have a big party and everyone could have their picture taken with me. *laughs hysterically* That's our boy!
Kolby wrote: If I had 100 dollars, I would buy a dog and cat and a new house and a game cube with new games. Don't we all wish that $100 would really go that far? *grins*
Then, there were a few more pictures from yesterday that Mrs. Ford printed for us. She has been a most amazing teacher all year long. Truly went above and beyond in so many ways and the kiddos just adored her!
And last, but certainly not least, a random picture from some time during the year. I have no idea when it was taken, but I sure cracked up laughing when I saw it!
