Last Day
| Of the move that is! We finally got everything loaded up and out of the house. I must say that the ladies that came to pack the house and the guys that came to load everything up into the truck were quite impressive! They managed to get everything done in less than 14 hours worth of work! WOW! After they all left, it was time to start cleaning. Zoe's boyfriend, Nico was super nice about coming over several days in a row to help. I'm certain that there were no other motivations other than helping us with the packing, cleaning and all of that good stuff! Tehehehe. He was a huge help though. He got down and dirty scrubbing baseboards and all kinds of other stuff with us!   I finally reached a point that I just couldn't work anymore. Which meant it was time to head to my mom's house and rest for a bit! Smokey will be spending the next few weeks with them and then we will come back through town on our way to South Carolina to pick him up. Walter loves teasing animals even though he is a huge animal lover. So, it was hilarious when he heard that Smokey prefers to sleep in the bed with people and Walter yelled that there was no way he was sleeping with him! The above picture is Walter in bed the first night we stayed there. Any surprise that Smokey is in there with him as if he belonged there all along? Tehehehehe |
