 Wow, I have spent the past two days getting the house ready for the movers. Today, I made a trip with things that were going to mom's house that she might be able to use and to Joe and Adam. They got the alcohol, plants and candles! Tehehehe. Everyone makes the comment, "They are coming to pack everything for you. What could you possibly have to do!?!?" Well, let me tell you, there is a lot to do! I have to sort everything into the master bathroom that the movers won't be handling. I have to get rid of stuff that we don't really need anymore. All of those boxes that never got unpacked in this new house has to be unpacked so that they can be re-packed by the movers....thus insurable during the move. I have to make sure that everything is in the room that it needs to go into in the new house. Forget cleaning the house to specs for moving out! I'm going to be super busy through the day of the move. All is going well here though. The kids are spending the weekend at grandma and grandpa's house so that I can do all of this without them underfoot. Which translates into getting rid of a bunch of Kolby's toys without him crying and screaming the entire time! Tehehehe. Jeff is doing much of the same stuff in Kunsan. Since they will be doing an exercise right before he leaves, he will be moving out extra early too. On top of all of this, I need to make the house somewhat presentable too as a bunch of friends are coming over tonight for a farewell kind of party. WAHOO! AND Tera is coming to town for a few days! I'm so freaking excited! So, on that note, I'm off to work. Much love to everyone! |
