Oh Yeah, Cause Papa Bill's ill
| Last night, when I asked Kolby if he remembered who was coming to visit us this weekend, he spouted off "Papa Bill and Grandma Cheryl right?" I laughed and said no that Grandma Donna was coming this time. This very serious look came over his face and he said, "oh yeah, cause Papa Bill's ill. Ill is just another word for sick mom." I immediately spewed my food laughing because I knew exactly what he was talking about. Saturday night, Kolby tried his darndest to get me into trouble by telling his dad that I was trying to buy Papa Bill stuff in the yucky ducky colors. Of course, I jumped in immediately defending myself and made Kolby tell his Dad who REALLY wanted to buy Papa Bill yucky ducky colors for a present. This of course brought up the whole conversation of Kolby not liking the yucky ducky's at all, but that his Papa Bill did and Kolby just wanted to make him happy! Jeff reminded Kolby that anyone that liked the yucky ducky team is very ill and we need to help them by sending the Mighty & Triumphant Beaver colors every chance that we get! Or something like that anyway. So, I wasn't quick to correct Kolby. Instead, I just said, "Yep, Papa Bill IS ill!" Muwahahaha. Not much else new going on around here lately. Jeff and I attended the Veterans Day assembly at Kolby's school this morning. I have to say, I think it was the best veterans day assembly I have ever seen! Kingsbury did a truly phenomenal job! Way to go Knights! And after the assembly, we joined Kolby in his classroom where Jeff got to chat it up a bit with everyone in class about what it is like to be a pilot in the Air Force. Tehehehe. Kolby was more than proud to say the least! Other than that, it's been pretty quiet. I've been plugging away on cookie drive stuff and getting everything lined up to start back with CASA. And of course getting the house ready for Donna's visit! We are so excited that you are coming to visit!!!! Hope everyone is doing fantastic! Give everyone huge hugs from us and be sure to snag one for yourself too!!!! |
