Slave Market
Today we took Donna to Charleston for a little shopping in the slave market. The day started off with a carriage ride/tour of the historic district. Here are a few pictures from the ride:       Kevin was our horse and is in the picture with Kolby and Zoe! Kolby was really only impressed with Kevin. Nothing else the entire day was worth the drive to Charleston! Especially not the shopping! Tehehehe. Here's a shot of Donna and Jeff shopping in the market.  After quite a long time shopping, we ate lunch at Hymann's and if you ever visit Charleston, your trip won't be complete without eating there before you leave! It was scrumptious! Then it was off to Patriot Park where we got to tour an aircraft carrier. We didn't make it to the submarine that we could have seen too. We were all just too dang tired for that! Tehehehe. I promised Jeff that during our next trip we would check it out though.                   We all had a really awesome time both in Charleston and hanging out with Donna! Hopefully we didn't wear her out too much today! We have tons more planned for her! |
