All Beavered Up
Today is Jeff's first day back at work. Yuck. Thankfully, it's a VERY short week since they are off on Friday for the holiday! He's working Donna's schedule! Two day work week! How awesome would it be if that were EVERY week? We really hated to see this morning come after six days of no alarm clocks and tons and tons of family time but at least he got to head out the door in style thanks to a couple of his new lunch bag and coffee koozie that he got for Christmas! Tehehehe.  It's not even 9am and I've already gotten 2 loads of laundry (working on the 3rd) done, updated this thing and am about to finish off the Airman's Cookie Drive continuity book completed! Wahoo! I feel a productive day coming on! Now, all that's left on my calendar is to bake a ton of cookies and banana bread for Jeff's office to enjoy tomorrow, take Kolby shopping to spend his holiday cash, do a little house cleaning and swing by the grocery store at some point! Then hopefully that will clear tomorrows calendar for a little basket weaving! YAY! Did I mention that Jeff got me this awesome book that teaches me step by step on making the sweet grass baskets? I'm ordering the supplies for that today too, but in the mean time, he also got me an awesome pine needle basket kit that will hopefully get done tomorrow! |
