Less than 6 hours to go!
| Until Christmas! YAYAYAYAYAYAY!!! Tonight, we all gathered up in the living room after dinner to open up the presents that our families shipped to us. What amazing gifts! Here are some of those pictures! I think Kolby was really, really ready to open presents!  Zoe opening the long awaited Christmas present from Grandma Angela! It's absolutely amazing! Zoe almost cried when she saw it. Mom asked why that was sooo important to her, which shocked me a bit. Certainly she understood that it wasn't the quilt that meant so much to Zoe, but that Grandma made it for her! The time and love it takes to make something by hand for someone you love far outweighs any amount of money you can spend on a gift!   How'd she do it? Grandma Angela managed to get the highly elusive Zhu Zhu pet for Kolby! He almost jumped out of his skin with excitement!     OH WOW!!!! A Cricut! You so freaking rock mom! Jeff and I are going to have a TON of fun with this new toy!  Kolby's first baseball gear came from Michael and Kim! He can't wait to get out there and start practicing with dad he says! Mom says that hopefully all of our windows stay in tact! Tehehehe.  Grandma Donna and Grandpa Warren got Kolby started on his bedroom collection! Holy schmokes, Zoe tried to put it over her shoulders and Kolby flipped a lid! That was HIS Beavers blanket and she wasn't allowed to use it! Tehehehe. Now, he wants to know when we will buy him the sheets and bedheads! He's so ready for his room to be rocking and rolling in Beaver gear! Tehehehe.  And he got the cutest reindeer in OSU gear imaginable!  Jeff opening the families gift from Rylee, Sara and Eric. It was the Family Game Night for Wii! WAHOO! We are all so stoked to finally get to sit down (or up) and play!   Kolby couldn't believe that Grandma Angela and Grandpa Walter actually sent him a 50 dollar bill! He's super rich now! *laughs*  Grandpa Bill and Grandma Cheryl took the cake though by sending Zoe a blank check! Or close enough to it! Tehehehehe. They also sent along a beautiful scarf! I might have to borrow that a time or two! ;)   The kids were super spoiled by the grandparents. Grandma Donna and Grandpa Warren sent Zoe a $50 gift card to Hollister! Wow! And Michael and Kim sent her these most awesome, comfy slippers!  Mom definitely knows what I like and a woman can NEVER have too many shaws!   Jeff was overly impressed with the Craftsman 19hp drill that mom and Walter sent him! The 100 dollar bill that accompanied it wasn't too bad either! *laughs*   Many, many thanks to Michael and Kim that sent the complimentary bit set for the drill! You guys so rock!  And to Dad & Cheryl for the most awesome arm bands ever! Muwahahahaha...just kidding, but it took us just a bit to realize they were coffee cup sleeves!  There were a few gifts that we didn't get pictures of but hopefully you all have enjoyed getting to see everyone open the gifts that you sent. Our family is truly amazing and we were so very thrilled with everything the only things that could have been better would have been to have had you all here with us! We love and miss you guys and thank you so much for everything! Now it's time for everyone to hit the sack so that Santa can finally come! WAHOO!!!!! |
