A Little Early
Sit down everyone because you are NEVER going to believe this one! I opted to take down all of the Christmas stuff before the new year! Yeah, I know, utterly shocking! It made sense though. Our tree didn't hold up quite as well as last year....undoubtedly the result of buying from Lowes.....and although, it would have been fine through the new year, I didn't want to spend our new years weekend taking everything down. So, since Jeff still has a few days off now, we decided to just bite the bullet and take it down now. Oh my goodness how empty the house looks!     We decided to do a little bit of a variation of how it was before the decorations went up. So far everyone likes it, but I'm still on the fence about the placement of the couch and chair. We shall see how long it all lasts! Tehehehe. I think it took us 4 hours to get everything down and put away. Jeff and I sat back laughing at how quickly it comes down in comparison to the 2.5 days it took to put up! *laughs* |
